Students may join the band or orchestra once they achieve the required level of proficiency, as determined by the band or orchestra instructor.
What about practicing?
Students need to agree to regular practice at home, and need to commit to a minimum of a full year of study.
What about instrument rentals?
Instruments are available through the district—the current cost is $75 per school year. SEND NO MONEY NOW — more information will be sent to you by your building's music teacher in the fall.
Do students receive a grade for music lessons?
Students will be graded for lessons and band/orchestra by their music teacher.
When do lessons begin?
